They had a decent sound and I watched a show or two of theirs. While they did a number of their own original tunes, the biggest crowd pleaser (and our favorite) was when they did their own rocking super fast version of the old Spider-Man theme song. It was just awesome hearing a different interpretation, plus actually hearing it at a gig was pretty surreal. Remember, this was way before the first Spider-Man movie was even close to becoming a reality.

So I just love this swing-style version of the theme by crooner Michael Buble, that a real good friend of mine (Thanks again, Tish!) just turned me on to. Not only does he have an impressive voice, but I’m more impressed that the managed to successfully stretch a 30-second little ditty, into a full-fledged 3 minute tune.
